I hate the phone company 

Even though computer people believe that we are at the top of the food chainwe are not. Like many other creatures on this planet, we too have beasts that we must look out for to stay alive. Wilder beast have lions and giant crocodiles that easily pick out their weak and stupid to quickly devour. Hyenas work in packs as do wolves to take down prey that are caught too unaware, and Network Administrators have End-Users and the Phone Company.  Oh yesthe phone company.

The phone companies primary source of revenue is of course communications, and yet they have the worst communication skills of any or organization that Ive ever had the displeasure of working with. Not only do they over promise and under deliver, sometimes that dont deliver at all. (Now realize that Im only talking about T1, ISDN and DSL lines. What they do with phone lines may be a completely different matter.) In the past five years, I have had over 60 Digital lines installed and I have a story on almost everyone of them. I hate the phone company. I hate phone company employees. I hate using the phone to call phone company employees. But what I hate the most is: When I call the phone company and a recorded voice asked me to enter my phone number and then it repeats it back to me and asked me to press 1 if the number is correct, and then a person comes on line and asks me for my phone numberIm telling you man, I hate the phone company.
