Comments about the governments handling of the hurricane Katrina disaster

What is your Opinion? I've seen many complaints that government resources have been stretched too thin in Iraq, and there is more criticism that the U.S. gave Israel 3 billion dollars to purchase new homes for relocating Israelis on the West Bank. What is your opinion, with regards to how the government handled the hurricane Katrina disaster? 

Could President Bush have done a better job or not?
